Job Title: Visual Director (full time)
Offered wage: $189,259.00/year

Job Duties:
- Utilize advanced artistic and technical skills in photography, visual storytelling, and integrated brand development to oversee the creative direction, photographic content, and brand aesthetic of Yawning Cobra, a conceptual cocktail-forward bar brand with current locations in downtown and midtown Manhattan and plans for continued expansion;
- Lead the overall visual identity and creative direction of the Yawning Cobra brand, developing and maintaining a cohesive visual language across all locations, platforms, and consumer touch points;
- Oversee all visual materials used for marketing, advertising, event promotion, and customer engagement, ensuring consistency with the brand's artistic vision and creative strategy;
- Direct and produce original photographic content for use across social media, website, digital campaigns, press kits, and printed collateral, including portraits, cocktail still life, environmental shots, and editorial-style brand storytelling;
- Manage photography and post-production processes, including studio lighting, on location shooting, retouching, image curation, and visual editing using industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite;
- Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute seasonal and campaign-specific photo shoots that visually convey the bar’s evolving identity, featured cocktails, and curated experiences;
- Supervise the design of promotional materials such as menus, merchandise packaging, event posters, and digital ads, ensuring high artistic quality and brand alignment; and Evaluate visual performance metrics from digital campaigns and social media platforms to adjust strategies and optimize audience engagement through compelling visual storytelling.
Requirements:
The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Photography or equivalent in fine arts, plus at least 60 months of work experience in the same or similar position such as graphic designer, photographer, or visual content creator. Alternatively, the candidate must possess at least a Master’s degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Photography or equivalent in fine arts, plus at least 12 months of work experience in the same or similar position such as graphic designer, photographer, or visual content creator.
