Job Title: Management Analyst (full time)

Offered wage: $74,402.00/year

Work location: 356 Bowery, Lower Level, New York NY 10012 

 

Job Duties:  

-  Analyze and comprehend the bar’s operational and financial needs by collecting and evaluating sales data, cost reports, inventory records, staffing models, and customer feedback to determine profitability, operational feasibility, and areas requiring improvement;

-  Analyze and evaluate management methods and procedures relating to food and beverage cost control, inventory management, staffing allocation, service efficiency, and vendor performance; conducting interviews, market research, and onsite observations to identify operational improvements;

 

-  Prepare and implement detailed management plans, operational strategies, internal control systems, and standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and consistent bar and restaurant operations;

 

-  Monitor and forecast key performance indicators, including revenue, labor costs, food and beverage costs, profit margins, and inventory turnover; evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and conduct work simplification and cost-efficiency studies when necessary;

 

-  Utilize project-based analytical methodologies to develop management improvements, cost-reduction strategies, revenue enhancement initiatives, and service quality programs;

 

-  Review and analyze financial statements, payroll records, and point-of-sale data to assess overall business performance and recommend strategic adjustments;

 

-  Research and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including health and safety codes, alcohol beverage control laws, labor regulations, and licensing requirements relevant to the bar and restaurant industry.

 

Requirements:

The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or any equivalent field, plus at least 24 months of work experience in the same occupation or a related occupation such as Management Analyst and Business Analyst.
